The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a retail theft that occurred at the Walgreens store at 6730 US 98 North (Lakeland) on Thursday, June 9th at about 7 p.m.

A basket full of merchandise was stolen from the store.

The employee who reported the crime said the suspect was a white male adult who fled on a bicycle going north.
