CRIME: CAR BURGLARIES
CRIME SCENE: PROVIDENCE, TIVOLI PRESERVE, AND SERENO SUBDIVISIONS
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #24-7504

On February 21st at around 3:23pm, PCSO deputies were notified about a suspicious male being in the victim's vehicle without permission. Unfortunately, the call was made about thirty minutes after the incident, and the suspect was gone when deputies arrived.

During the investigation, it was learned that six vehicles were burgled in three different neighborhoods: Sereno, Providence, and Tivoli Preserve.

Five of the burgled cars were Hyundais and one was a Kia. The vehicles may have been targeted due to security issues with the two brands.
