An investigation is being conducted by the Polk County Sheriff's Office in which the victim's wallet was either lost or stolen, and her Master Card and Debit Card were illegally used later that day.

The two transactions were made at different Lakeland Target locations, one at 4005 US 98 North and the other at 3570 Hardin Boulevard...thirty-six minutes apart. These transactions occurred on June 8th.

The detective assigned to this case was able to obtain security video showing the suspect who used one of the cards without authorization.

This suspect is described as a white or Hispanic woman, heavy-set, and brown-braided hair.
