Detectives at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at the Dollar General store at 4336 Knights Station Road in Lakeland on Wednesday, December 19th, at about 9:36 P.M.

Our detectives are hoping that someone happened to be driving by that area at around that time and noticed a vehicle that was parked on the south side of Knights Station Road. That vehicle was the one used by the suspects in this crime.

In the security video, you can see as the men come in, go to the check-out area, and demanded that the employees hand over the money from the registers and safe.

The good news: The two employees and two customers were not hurt. The bad news: These guys are on the loose.

The suspects were described as such:
1. Black male, late 20’s or 30’s, approximately 5’8” tall, and heavy-set. 
2. Black male, late 20’s or 30’s, approximately 5’5” tall, and thin-build.
