Media Contact : Brian Bruchey, PIO

We would like your help to solve this trailer theft case. Two 18-ft. trailers were taken from East Tower Communications on North Combee Road, Lakeland.

The theft happened early Tuesday morning, 10/05/2021, between approximately 0435-0447 hours: two trucks were observed pulling into the rear of the closed business in the loading area.

The stolen trailer and suspect descriptions are:

Trailer #1: Quality Cargo Trailer, white, 2018, Permanent Registration, 18ft.; North Carolina Tag# AH88744

Trailer #2: Quality Cargo Trailer, white, 2018, Permanent Registration, 18ft.; North Carolina Tag# AH88745

Suspect Vehicle #1: A brown/beige Dodge Pickup Truck, Four (4) Doors, with a distinct reddish horizontal/slanted stripe down both sides of the vehicle. The suspect driving the Dodge was observed hooking the vehicle to the trailer; he appeared to be a Caucasian male wearing a white cap, red shirt, brown pants, and dark colored shoes. The male appears to be possibly 30-40 years of age. This truck attached to Trailer #1.

Suspect vehicle #2: A red Chevrolet Pickup Truck, Four (4) Doors, with black colored accent paint on the lower sides of the vehicle. The driver of the Chevrolet was observed to be assisting the driver of the Dodge in the burglary/theft of ETC; he was wearing a black cap, black graphic short-sleeve top, shorts, and dark colored shoes. This suspect appeared to be a Caucasian male, also 30-40 years of age. This truck attached to Trailer #2.

The video surveillance footage showed both trucks & stolen trailers leaving the loading dock area with their headlights off.
