On May 11th, at about 2:47 p.m., a theft occurred on Costine Road inside of the Timberidge neighborhood in Lakeland (off of Old Polk City Road). An unknown person stopped their vehicle next to a parked trailer, and stole tools from a tool box on the trailer.
The suspect's vehicle is a red or maroon SUV...believed to be a GMC Acadia.
If you recognize the suspect, or have information that could be helpful toward this investigation, please contact Detective Arbogast of the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 863-577-1630 (Case #22-20857).

The Polk County Sheriff's Office arrested a Lakeland man and charged him with aggravated animal cruelty, animal abandonment, and animal cruelty (5-counts).
