CRIME: THEFT & FRAUD
CRIME SCENE: HOME DEPOT, 6335 S. FLORIDA AVE, LAKELAND
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #23-45675
This crime happened in October but was reported in November due to the victim not being aware right away that it had occurred.
The suspect (in the photo) managed to obtain the victim's personal information and made fraudulent purchases at the Home Depot that were then charged to the victim.
There were two purchased of more than $700 at the south Lakeland Home Depot, and then another valued at about $1700 at the north Lakeland Home Depot.
A Home Depot employee said that the suspect had dreadlocks, which aren't clearly visible in the photo due to the hat.
The PCSO is hoping someone might recognize the suspect and provide the identity to Detective Ryan at 863-298-6200, or at WRyan@polksheriff.org.
