CRIME: RETAIL THEFT
CRIME SCENE: DOLLAR GENERAL STORE, 2832 RECKER HWY, WINTER HAVEN
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #23-22444
Around 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2023, the suspect seen arrived at the Dollar General store on Recker Hwy in Winter Haven in a light-colored sedan, possibly a Honda Accord, and went inside. After walking around the store, he eventually went behind the counter - twice - and filled a plastic bucket with numerous packs of Newport and Marlboro cigarettes. He then fled the scene.
He's described as a black male in his 30s, wearing jeans, a white tank top, and black ballcap with an unknown logo on it.
