Beer thief. This theft occurred at the Kangaroo Express at 2100 Memorial Boulevard in Lakeland on July 10th at around 1 a.m.

A witness said this tall, thin, Hispanic man walked into the store's beer cave, grabbed a six-pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade and a 12-pack of Heineken and walked out without paying for it.

As he was exiting, an employee yelled at him to pay for it, which he replied, "It's my birthday."

Well, the Polk County Sheriff's Office has some gifts for him for his special day...matching orange shirt and pants, some nice terracotta-colored slides, and some silverish handcuffs*. Unfortunately, we don't know who he is or where to find him.
