CRIME: VEHICLE BURGLARY AND STOLEN WALLET
CRIME SCENE: CIRCLE K STORE, 2109 MEMORIAL BLVD W, LAKELAND
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE: #24-31561

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a wallet from a car parked at the Circle K on Memorial Blvd in Lakeland. The theft occurred during the early morning hours of Friday, August 9, 2024. The victim was sleeping in his parked car in the parking lot overnight when an unknown suspect removed his wallet and all of his debit cards.

The suspect seen here attempted to use the stolen debit cards at the store between 3:00 and 6:00 a.m. When the victim woke up he had alerts from his financial institutions about the fraudulent attempted purchases/withdrawals.
